Advances in home technology have forever altered expectations of buyers. High-tech home theaters, kitchens and appliances, bathrooms, security systems - all have benefited from advances in technology and increasingly consumers demand these features in existing homes as well as in new construction. As generations who grew up in front of a computer mature into home buyers, wired, high-tech homes will be the norm.
