Field Guide to Fair Housing
(Updated March 2008)
President Lyndon Johnson urged congressional approval of the Fair Housing Act just one week after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. He felt it an appropriate tribute to Dr. King's legacy, and the Fair Housing Act was signed on April 11, 1968. This Field Guide will assist REALTORS® with fair housing resources, statistical data, advertising issues and more. Also provided are links to numerous free fair housing resources at this website. (D.
