Code of Ethics Training and REALTOR Emeritus members
The National Association of REALTORS®'s Board of Directors approved the following motion May 15, 2004.
That the REALTORS® Code of Ethics Training (formerly "Quadrennial Ethics Training") requirement be waived for all REALTORS® Emeritus members.

CCIM Institute on-line ethics course
The following motion was approved by the NAR Board of Directors at the 2008 Annual Convention and Expo.
That any REALTOR® successfully completing the CCIM Institute’s mandatory on-line ethics training program be deemed to have satisfied NAR’s quadrennial Code of Ethics training obligation.
