She is an advocate for NAR tax policies that protect and enhance ownership and investment in both residential and commercial real estate. Linda began her career as tax counsel to U.S. Senator Cliff Hansen, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee. Working with Senator Hansen, she assisted in passing legislation that reduced capital gains taxes from 49% to 28%. After the senator, she joined a Big 4 international accounting firm where she helped develop a firm-wide legislative tax practice and assisted clients in solving their tax legislative and regulatory problems. Linda received her education at Brigham Young University. She holds a Master's degree in American Literature and is also is a graduate of BYU's Law School. Linda has traveled all over the world (to more than 40 countries) in support of her husband’s goal to see 100 countries during his lifetime. (So far he has been to 75!)
