Realtor® Magazine Wins Multiple Awards for Media Innovation
WASHINGTON (May 10, 2012) – Realtor® Magazine, an online and print publication of the National Association of Realtors®, has received three awards for Media Innovation from the Association Media & Publishing EXCEL Awards. The EXCEL Awards honor the best and brightest in association media and publishing.
“NAR is Realtors®’ business advantage, and Realtor® Magazine is just one example of the myriad resources and information NAR provides for its members,” said NAR President Moe Veissi, broker-owner of Veissi & Associates Inc., in Miami. “This recognition only underscores the value NAR brings to Realtors®, consumers and the real estate industry.”
Realtor® Magazine received a gold EXCEL award for the Speaking of Real Estate Blog, a silver award for the editorial, “Yes to Consolidation” by Cameron Paine, and a bronze award for NAR’s use of free media tools in its social media strategy. This year, 180 winners were chosen from the more than 1,000 entries submitted to the EXCEL Awards. Winners representing 104 nonprofit organizations and associations were chosen for outstanding work in editorial, design, advertising and marketing, online publishing, mobile applications, digital editions and electronic newsletter categories. Award recipients will be recognized at the 32nd Annual EXCEL Awards Gala on June 11, 2012, at the Baltimore Hilton in Baltimore, Md.
