Government Affairs Materials for the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo

The 2015 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo represents an important opportunity for REALTORS® to meet with their U.S. Senators and house staff and communicate the issues critical to their businesses, communities and the consumers they represent.

To help prepare members for their upcoming meetings in May, NAR is preparing talking points that will walk REALTORS® through the messages that NAR would like presented to their Members of Congress. Additionally, NAR will hold a virtual town hall on May 6 at 2 p.m. EST to address any questions REALTORS® may have about the talking points.

Talking Points

NAR is currently creating a set of talking points to help you prepare for your upcoming Capitol Hill visits with your Members of Congress during the REALTOR® Party Convention & Expo in May. The talking points will be live and available on this page for download on April 29.

The updated agendas for the various NAR committee meetings taking place at the REALTOR® Party Convention & Trade Expo in May will available on this page for download after April 29.

Real Estate Activity Reports by Congressional District: 114th Congress

The updated congressional district reports will be available for download on this page after May 1. The reports will feature real estate statistics and home buying activity reports by state and district.

Live Webcast: NAR's Virtual Town Hall

On May 6th, NAR will conduct a Town Hall Meeting for REALTORS® who are planning to attend the 2015 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo. NAR's Senior Vice President and Chief Lobbyist Jerry Giovaniello, will be accompanied by NAR lobbyists and policy staff, highlighting the issues REALTORS® are to present during meetings in Capitol Hill offices. Jerry, the lobbyists, and the policy staff will also answer many questions to be submitted by the attendees.
