Government Affairs Materials for the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo

The 2015 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo represents an important opportunity for REALTORS® to meet with their U.S. Senators and Representatives to communicate the issues critical to their businesses, communities, and the consumers they represent.

In order to help members prepare for their upcoming meetings in May, NAR prepared the set of talking points listed below. These talking points will walk REALTORS® through the messages that NAR would like presented to their Members of Congress. Additionally, NAR will hold a virtual town hall on May 6 at 2 p.m. EST to address any questions REALTORS® may have about the talking points.

Real Estate Activity Reports by Congressional District: 114th Congress

The updated congressional district reports will be available for download on this page after May 1. The reports will feature real estate statistics and home buying activity reports by state and district.

Live Webcast: NAR's Virtual Town Hall

On May 6th, NAR will conduct a Town Hall Meeting for REALTORS® who are planning to attend the 2015 REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo. NAR's Senior Vice President and Chief Lobbyist Jerry Giovaniello, will be accompanied by NAR lobbyists and policy staff, highlighting the issues REALTORS® are to present during meetings in Capitol Hill offices. Jerry, the lobbyists, and the policy staff will also answer many questions to be submitted by the attendees.
