Instanet Solutions Achieves REALTOR® Secure Status

WASHINGTON, May 18, 2006

Instanet Solutions, a transaction management system (TMS) company based in London, Canada, has achieved REALTOR® Secure certification from the National Association of Realtors®. REALTOR® Secure recognizes organizations using the best security practices in the real estate industry.

Instanet Solutions is the developer of Transaction Desk, an advanced transaction management system that streamlines the work flow and collaboration between consumers, professionals and clients in a real estate transaction. Instanet Solutions successfully demonstrated that it met the requirements of the REALTOR® Secure program and has best practices in place to protect real estate, employee, and customer information from internal and external threats and to prevent business interruptions.

The REALTOR® Secure program certification demonstrates that an organization meets best practices to address the confidentiality, integrity and availability of real estate and consumer information. The program was developed by NAR's Center for REALTOR® Technology and is based on security standards from the International Standards Organization and the National Institutes of Standards and Technology.

In achieving certification, Instanet joins a growing number of TMS suppliers and other vendors to win REALTOR® Secure status; in addition to vendors, nearly 100 MLSs have been certified by CRT.
