On Monday, March 9, 2015, the 3 largest credit-reporting firms – Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion – reached an agreement with New York state to overhaul their reporting and error resolution practices. Many of these changes will be implemented on a national basis roughly over the next 3 years.

On Feb. 26, 2015, the U.S. House Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and Trade held a hearing titled “Update: Patent Demand Letter Practices and Solutions.” Vince Malta, NAR’s 2015 Liaison for Law and Policy, testified on behalf of NAR and the United for Patent Reform Coalition, a diverse group of American businesses committed to curbing patent abuses.
