Neighborhood Info Tab on REALTOR.com Showcase Listings

The Neighborhod Info tab is a new enhancement on the Listing Detail page for Showcase Listing Enhancement customers. It features community and school information integrated cleanly into a map overlay, and is presented with colorful supplemental charts and graphs depicting important statistics relevant to the zip code in which the property is located. The information includes community characteristics, school ratings, area businesses (shopping centers, restaurants, etc.), and local amenities. There is no additional fee for this new enhancement to the Showcase Listing display. This feature was launched June 12, 2007.

Additional Details and New Features

• The Neighborhood Info tab consists of two sub-tabs: the Communities Information page and the School Information page.
  
  
• The Communities Information page includes information unique to the local community, displayed on a map page overlay, with such features as area amenities, statistics, and transportation information.
  
  
• The Schools Information page includes school information, such as school ratings, unique to each community. Schools are displayed on a map page overlay for location reference.
  
  
• Each consumer viewing the Communities Information or School Information has the ability to select from a number of categories to view, using simple drop-down menus and a checkbox to apply additional display on the map overlay.
  
  
• The map overlay provides for mouse-over functionality for each icon or graphic representation.
  
  
• The mapping within the Neighborhood tab is cutting-edge technology, powered by Microsoft Virtual Earth, and includes user-generated data overlays.
  
  
• The Neighborhood tab feature is for Showcase listings only, and is included in the current product feature set at no additional charge.
  
  
• Each Showcase customer (broker or agent) has the ability to suppress (turn off) this free Neighborhood tab using a "switch" in the Control Panel for those wishing to opt out.
  
• Colorful and insightful charts and graphs which elegantly portray detailed data about schools and communities.
