Photo Gallery Tab on REALTOR.com® Showcase Listings
Our current image display on REALTOR.com® allows for a display of a maximum of six images for all Showcase listings and one image for all standard listings. With the launch of the Photo Gallery tab, we will now allow up to 25 images to be displayed on the Listing Detail page for all Showcase listings on REALTOR.com®. Standard listings will continue to display a single image on the site. This feature launched on June 26, 2007.
Showcase customers will have two ways to add multiple images to their listings:
- Multiple images (up to 25) will be displayed on REALTOR.com® if they are sent via the MLS data feed.
- Multiple images (up to 25) can be uploaded via the REALTOR.com® Control Panel.
Additional Details and New Features
- We will continue to display only six image thumbnails on the main Listing Detail page, with an added "See more photos" link at the bottom of the six thumbnails.
- Users can access the Photo Gallery by clicking on the Photo Gallery tab on the top of the Listing Detail page, or by clicking on the "More photos" link at the bottom of the six thumbnails.
- There are no changes to the image thumbnail size.
- The new Photo Gallery page will allow users to view a maximum of 25 image thumbnails, with the screen displaying six at a time.
- Images loaded via the REALTOR.com® Control Panel will take precedence over images sent via the MLS feed. Or in other words, if a Showcase customer loads new images in the REALTOR.com® Control Panel, these images will replace any images sent to us via the MLS feed.
- There is no additional charge to Showcase customers to display up to 25 photos on each listing.
