Video Home Tours on REALTOR.com® Showcase Listings
Showcase Listing Enhancement customers can now upload video home tours of any listing they have on REALTOR.com® via the Control Panel. Videos will be viewable on REALTOR.com® for all consumers using the Video tab on the Listing Detail page. This feature launched June 26, 2007.
Key Components of the New Video Functionality
- A new Video tab on the Listing Detail page with an embedded media player and also full-screen format.
- Best-in-class video hosting partner and content delivery network Akamai provides for seamless and reliable hosting of the uploaded video tours nationwide.
- A new clickable Video Tour icon on the interim search page, search results page, Featured Home page, and map search page will also link to the Video Tab page on the Listing Detail page.
- A Manage Videos module enables the listing agent to upload, overwrite, and delete their listing videos. In addition, reporting on user video views, video preview capability, and video listings filter functionality is all available in the Control Panel.
- "Flag this video as inappropriate" alert: a real-time e-mail form for reporting potentially controversial content to REALTOR.com® Customer Care results in review and/or removal from the network.
