The REALTOR.org 9/11 Remembrance site is dedicated to all the REALTORS® who gave so generously of themselves in the wake of the attacks. Both collectively and as individuals, REALTORS® came to the aid of those in need and provided both monetary and spiritual support. From the REALTOR® Housing Relief Fund, which provided mortgage and rent assistance to more than 1,300 families of victims, to individual feats of heroism by REALTORS® throughout the country, this site stands in remembrance -- and reverence -- of the efforts of REALTORS® everywhere.

The material below was collected in remembrance of the first anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. It remains a poignant reminder of the tragedy and the generosity of those who contributed to relief efforts.

Over the past twelve months, REALTOR.org has covered REALTORS'® reactions to the 9/11 tragedy. There was a lot to cover as both NAR and REALTORS® nationwide reacted swiftly and often to come to the aid of victims and their families.
