	The underlying browser used by America Online (AOL) users is Internet Explorer. The IE version probably varies with the version of AOL that you are using.

Go up to your menu bar and select "Help". Then look for an item in the drop down menu something like "About Internet Explorer", "About Communicator" or "About Netscape". Choose this item. A pop-up splash screen or another web page will then display the browser program and version number.
