What is the Resort Symposium?

The NAR Resort and Second-home Symposium, is the conference for specialists in this exciting market niche—and for REALTORS® who want to learn from and network with resort experts.

Since the first Symposium in February 2004, NAR has presented two-day agendas of education sessions, networking activities, and recreation events like those at no other real estate meeting, featuring:

• Nationally-known industry speakers
• First-class hotels
• Area property tours
• Presentations that tackle international, national, and local issues
• Networking receptions at local marquee landmarks

But Symposium isn’t too serious. We also make sure there’s time for you to enjoy the allure, attractions and accommodations of the world-class destination selected for each Symposium.

Symposium takes place every 18 months and changes site each time in order to feature a different aspect of the resort and second-home market. First held in Los Cabos, Mexico, other destinations have included Kona, Hawaii; Naples, Florida; Vail, Colorado; and the latest at Lake Tahoe, Nevada. So what’s Symposium really like? Take a look:
