Apply for the 2007 RCA Awards
Until July 31, REALTORSŪ who practice commercial real estate can apply for the 2007 REALTORSŪ Commercial Alliance National Awards Program.
The program was launched last year to acknowledge the accomplishments of commercial members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORSŪ and its affiliates.
The RCA National Awards Program recognizes outstanding REALTORSŪ who received an award from their local or state commercial group by bringing national attention to their impressive professional achievements in commercial real estate.
Last year’s program recognized 30 commercial real estate professionals representing seven commercial overlay boards, 22 state and local commercial groups, the CCIM Institute and the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORSŪ. In 2007, the RCA staff is dedicated to doubling that amount.
“One of the best things that a national association can do is highlight the exceptional work and contributions of its members,” says Cindy Chandler, 2007 RCA committee chair. “The RCA National Awards program is a great opportunity to help our commercial groups recognize their award-winning members.”
The award recipients will be showcased on the RCA Web site and in the October 2007 issue of the National Real Estate Investor magazine. They will also receive a certificate of recognition from NAR and a copy of the magazine.
You can download a nomination form on RCA's Web site, REALTOR.org/Commercial.
RCA represents the collective commercial real estate constituencies of NAR, including its affiliated commercial organizations — the CCIM Institute, the Counselors of Real Estate, the Institute of Real Estate Management, the REALTORSŪ Land Institute, and SIOR.
More than 100,000 NAR members offer commercial services, with over 30,000 real estate professionals engaged full-time in every aspect of the commercial real estate industry.
