Texas Hall of Fame Inducts Martha Turner
Martha Fuller Turner, president and CEO of Martha Turner Properties, a billion-dollar, Houston-based residential real estate firm, has been inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
Turner earned her real estate license and started her business 27 years ago after she retired from teaching elementary school.
Martha Turner Properties is an affiliate of Christie's Great Estates, the real estate arm of Christie's, where Turner is a regular lecturer at annual meetings.
Turner is one of only seven women to have been inducted into the hall. Past inductees include President George H.W. Bush, Ross Perot, T. Boone Pickens, and football great Roger Staubach.
