How to Polish Your Personal Brand
Real estate professionals need to develop and maintain a personal brand to achieve success in today's market, but they must go beyond creating a personal logo and tagline to ensure that every communication with consumers reinforces their brand.
Practitioners no longer maintain a personal brand simply by selling homes and offering top-notch service, as market evolution and new marketing strategies have made differentiating themselves from their competitors extremely important, according to Robb Murry of the Personal Marketing Company.
Salespeople should develop marketing campaigns that speak directly to consumers as people and attempt to make emotional connections, and they must consider how their brand makes clients feel.
Additionally, they must provide "one big thing" that differs from the offerings of their rivals; ensure that marketing messages are both memorable and appealing; and take care that all e-mails, direct mail, Web sites, voicemail messages, Twitter messages, and other communications reinforce their personal brand.
