SPECIFICATIONS
• Digital advertisements are accepted in Macintosh format (Quark, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) with all supporting images and fonts, or you may supply the ad as a high-resolution PDF (PDFx1a). Pagemaker and Freehand files are not accepted.
• Ads can be submitted on CD or e-mailed to kcoleman@realtors.org. All e-mailed native files should be compressed with StuffIt Deluxe, making sure they’re not self-extracting, to avoid problems.
• Proofs must be supplied for all ads. PDFs are acceptable as long as color is not critical.
• Cover position ads should employ line screens no finer than 133. Cover material should be prepared to SWOP specifications (www.swop.org), allowing for 18-22% gain on press. Separations should be prepared with a maximum total tonal density of 280%.
• Inside ads should employ line screens no finer than 120. Material should be prepared allowing for approximately 30% gain on press. Separations for ads within the magazine should be prepared with a maximum total tonal density of 260%. Any screen that will not be acceptable if printed as a solid should be held below 85%.
• REALTOR® Magazine is printed in 4-color process (CMYK). PMS colors will be converted to their 4-color equivalents.
• All advertising is subject to review for trademark use and copy content. Production costs for any mechanical or copy changes will be charged back to the advertiser.

INSERT AND BRC MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Inserts require publisher’s approval for copy and mechanical specifications prior to running. Inserts may be furnished to REALTOR® Magazine pre-printed, or contact your sales representative for an insert printing quote.
• Generally, minimum stock weight 60 lb. text; maximum stock weight 100 lb. text. Heavier paper stock may be accepted upon evaluation and may incur additional charges. Minimum stock weight for BRCs: 7pt. card stock. Inserts may bind-in or be tipped.
