Through old-fashioned hospitality and newfangled technology, Logan has made a huge mark on this decidedly rural market with fewer than 20,000 residents. She hosts dinner parties for newcomers, introducing them to neighbors with common interests. In 2003, after convincing her broker of the need to have an Internet presence, her firm was the first in the community to have a Web site, which immediately differentiated the business from competitors. Her sales in 2006 were $4.7 million and grew to $5.3 million last year. 

CIVIC PRIDE: Although a native Mississippian, Logan grew up about 90 minutes by car from Cleveland. To overcome perceptions that she was an “outsider,” she expressed her community commitment via a newspaper, cable TV, and postcard ad campaign titled “Cleveland Is my Home.”.
