4 Basic Features Every Real Estate Web Site Should Have

Besides contact information, here are several basic features that every Web site should have.

1. Listings: People look online to see what’s available. If your site doesn't showcase listings, your customers will bounce to one that does.

2. Maps: Even a basic street map complements property information by giving visitors an idea of the market area and neighborhood.

3. Calculators: Buyers want to know what they can afford, as well as mortgage payments and closing costs. For sellers, the key number is what they can expect to walk away with after the sale.

4. Community/neighborhood/school data: Such information, either available on site or as a downloadable report, gives consumers much-needed insight while establishing your local expertise.
