Great Places to Look for Volunteers
If your fledgling organization needs some helping hands—and you feel like you’ve exhausted your supply of family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers—consider these grassroots options.

· Churches

· Schools

· Senior citizens’ and community centers

· Grocery store bulletin boards

· Posters in movie theaters

· Bingo halls

· Courts—those sentenced to do community service

· Golf courses

· Bowling lanes

· Service groups—Lions, Rotary, Elks

· Hand out promotions with pizza deliveries.

· Health clubs

· Festivals and craft fairs—if possible, get a booth donated

· Polling places

· Dry cleaners and other small service businesses

· Doctors’ and dentists’ offices

· Other volunteer organizations; those who volunteer already are usually more willing to lend a hand.
