2005 GRI Policy
Revised GRI Policy Statement
Attached is the revised GRI Policy Statement. The Education Committee's recommendations were unanimously approved by the NAR Board of Directors at their May 14, 2005 meeting and went into effect on that date.
Major revisions to the policy statement:
- Increase the number of years an association's GRI program is accreditited from three (3) years to five (5) years.
- Addition of the following statement to the policy:
"State Associations shall establish equivalency agreements with other state associations for the purpose of granting GRI credits, which equivalency credits cannot be unreasonabily denied."
- Addition of official procedures for consideration of alleged violations to the policy.
