CRT: Real estate technology trends and information resources

Center for REALTOR® Technology

Welcome to NAR's Center for REALTOR® Technology (CRT). CRT’s mission is to assist brokerage companies, multiple listing services, commercial information exchanges and state and local REALTOR® associations in the development, selection and use of technologies.

Since its creation in August 2001, the Center guided NAR members in evaluating, implementing and applying emerging technologies to enhance their business processes and profitability.

CRT acts as both an information resource to help REALTORS® get the most from their technology investments and a hands-on testing center of high-tech tools that can benefit brokers’ bottom lines.

The CRT also serves as the Voice of Real Estate™ to the technology community. The Center helps technology developers and vendors understand the true business needs of the real estate industry.

The Center also acts an advisor on proposed industry technology standards and conducts regular research on technology usage in the real estate community to help vendors recognize and respond to new industry concerns.

Our goal at CRT is to assist NAR, its leadership and members in joining the best in technology with the highest and most productive real estate practices. With your input and support, we’ll be able to help REALTORS® use technology to create an even better, more profitable industry.
