Housing Opportunity Program
NAR’s Housing Opportunity Program initiative aims to position REALTORS® as leaders in identifying, developing, advocating, and promoting business opportunities, programs, products, and resources that expand housing availability and ensure an adequate supply of housing opportunities in both the rental and homeownership sectors of the market.
HOPE Awards
The HOPE Awards (Home Ownership Participation for Everyone) is a national real estate industry awards program that recognizes individuals and organizations that are making outstanding contributions to increase minority homeownership in America. Created in 2001, the HOPE Awards are granted every other year.
NAR Launches First Spanish-Language TV Ad
NAR’s Public Awareness Campaign launched its first-ever Spanish-language television ad in 2005 to encourage Hispanic real estate consumers to work with a REALTOR®. The ad portrays Hispanic Americans sharing their hopes, dreams, and stories about achieving the American dream of homeownership.
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® International Network
The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® International Network is a specialty membership group for international practitioners of the organization. The Network, which comprises 1,500 real estate professionals in 51 countries, provides education, informal business generating services, and networking events.
Foreign Bilateral Cooperating Associations Partners
NAR has cooperating agreements with 62 national real estate associations in 51 countries, plus agreements with two European regional associations and one Central American regional association. This international program aims to help members to conduct business successfully and ethically in an expanding global environment, to establish NAR as a leader in international real estate, and to advance the right to own and transfer real estate throughout the world.
