React MobileReact Mobile is a personal safety solution that turns your smartphone into a powerful lifeline via the React Mobile personal safety app. With this free app, you can let a wide network, including the local authorities, know where you are and that you need help. Safety Products

AlertID

AlertID is a public safety product provides safety information on an easy to use map, and through emergency alerts on mobile devices, email and online. It integrates with the Computer Automated Dispatch (CAD) systems of thousands of local law enforcement agencies to deliver local crime information; sex offender information; weather alerts come from the national weather service; and community and neighborhood information.

AngelGuard

AngelGuard is a safety device that plugs in to the diagnostic port of any passenger vehicle built since 1996. It automatically contacts 911 with your location, even when you can’t. If you are in a car crash, AngelGuard contacts 911 to report the crash and asks for emergency responders. After the emergency responders arrive, AngelGuard will automatically notify up to five individuals via either text or email that you have been in an accident.

Cost: $799.95 (one-time fee).

Mace Alert 911

With Mace Alert 911, you’ll have the peace of mind that comes with knowing help is available in any emergency situation. This hand-held device offers two-way voice communications directly to 911. No phone is needed and there are no monthly charges. With just a touch of a button, you will be connected in a 911 Emergency Dispatcher whenever you need assistance.

Prop Lock

Prop Lock is a simple and effective way to mitigate the risk posed by closed doors. This safety lock keeps doors propped open and prevents someone from maliciously creating a confined space.

TigerLady

TigerLady is a small package that packs a big punch. Weighing in at only a few ounces, TigerLady fits into your hand and between your fingers, so when you make a fist, small claws poke out. It provides an additional layer of protection if you have to fight off an attacker. The hollow channels on the underside of TigerLady's claws are designed to capture DNA and protect it, to aid in making a positive identification.

V.ALRT

V.ALRT is an ergonomically designed device can be carried discreetly in a pocket or a bag or worn as a bracelet or pendant. When pushed, the V.ALRT button pings your smartphone and sends personalized texts to three emergency contacts. These messages indicate that help is needed and also provide your GPS coordinates.

Safe Homes Coalition: Safeguarding Prescriptions During Property Showings

Overview: The Safe Homes Coalition helps raise awareness about the proper use, storage and disposal of prescription medication during open houses and property showings. Prescription drug abuse is a critical and complex public health issue that impacts more than 6 million Americans.

How it Works: By using a Safe Home Coalition re-sealable plastic bag, medications can easily and securely be stored and removed.

Safety Applications for Smartphones

Agents Armor

Overview: Agents Armor is designed specifically for real estate agents to alert brokers, emergency contacts and authorities everything they need to know about your appointments.

How it Works: The app allows you to let your broker and your emergency contacts know you are on a showing. With the voice memo feature, you can give a description of your client and his/her car; you can even take photos, which is uploaded to a secure server. Throughout the showing, a safety alert checks in to make sure you are safe. If you do not respond, your broker, emergency contacts and the authorities are notified with your GPS coordinates.

Price: $49.95 per year. Brokerage/Association discount pricing is available.  

Bmonitored

Overview: Bmonitored provides a safe method for meeting with strangers.

How it Works: Enter a meeting start time and safety alert times. Bmonitored will then ask you for confirmation that you are safe at the interval you have selected. Once you respond with your one-digit personal PIN, the system clock resets until your next safety alert interval. If you do not respond, your emergency contacts and the authorities are notified with your last GPS coordinates.

Client Interactive Tracking App

Overview: Client Interactive Tracking App allows a command center to track your movements on your terms, all over the globe.

How it Works: This app sets up geo fences that alert the command center of your location. It also sends push notifications directly to your phone regarding any inclement weather, health alerts and emergency situations, such as riots and hostile situations. If there are any issues, an executive protection specialist will be dispatched to be at your side as soon as possible.

HomeSnap Pro

Overview: Agents using Homesnap Pro can now set a Safety Timer when they go to a showing with an unfamiliar client.

How it Works: Prior to a showing, set a timer for how long you expect to be at the location and select your emergency contacts. If the timer expires, a text message will be sent to your emergency contacts that you are in distress. You can also send an instant distress alert to your emergency contacts with just one tap.

Price: $29.99.

LifeLine Response

Overview: LifeLine Response is the first and only patent-protected personal safety mobile app that utilizes natural human reaction to respond to emergency situations.

How it Works: Through codes and interaction, you can set an alert for emergency contacts that you are in danger. Trigger an extremely loud alarm to deter attackers or use the silent alarm to ask for help. Once an alert is detected, the response verification center will reach out to assess the situation and contact authorities with your GPS location, if necessary.

MyForce App

Overview: MyForce is a complete personal security system for your smartphone.

How it Works: If you are in danger, use this app to instantly notify the live response team just by pushing a button. Once notified, the response team listens to the audio uploaded from your smartphone and coordinates assistance with the nearest public emergency responders.

OnGuardHelp

Overview: OnGuardHelp features five buttons that provide five different ways to call for help.

How it Works: With this app, you can instantly call and text for help, send alerts with your GPS coordinates, call 911, use the silent alert feature for critical situations or contact first responders, such as fire or police departments.

People Smart

For $19.95 a month, PeopleSmart can perform a background check on prospective clients before you meet them.

React Mobile

Overview: React Mobile is a personal safety app that turns your smartphone into a powerful lifeline. It includes a unique feature that shares your location with others so they can track your every move.

How it Works: If you need help, use the React Mobile app to send an emergency alert to your chosen contacts, who will receive a text and an email with your GPS coordinates. In situations where you feel uncomfortable or want others to know where you are, use the Follow-Me feature to share your location via email and text with your network so they know exactly where you are. The app can be paired with the Sidekick, a remote-like device that when activated, sends emergency alerts and eliminates the need to find and unlock a smartphone to call for help.

Real Alert

Overview: Developed by a REALTOR®, Real Alert is designed to help you stay alert and aware of your surroundings while proving quick access to emergency services.

How it Works: From one screen, you can quickly dial 911 or tap “ALARM” to ward off potential attackers. You can also speed dial your emergency contacts, locate the nearest hospitals using your current GPS location and record details about a suspicious person before they are forgotten.

Price: $1.99 in the App Store.

Safe Fi

Overview: SafeFi is a mobile app that can be used in any dangerous or uncomfortable situation to instantly alert family, friends, co-workers and 911 that you need help.

How it Works: SafeFi utilizes a patented technology called SNAPP that turns your power button into a rescue button. No need to unlock your phone or navigate through apps, just repeatedly press your smartphone power button and an alert is sent with vital information and GPS coordinates to your network and 911 if needed.

SafetyIQ

Overview: While you’re on a showing, an emergency contact can follow your movements via GPS.

How it Works: If you unexpectedly leave your showing, SafetyIQ will automatically trigger an emergency alert to your emergency contact and display your real-time position on a map so help can be deployed immediately. If you feel threatened at any time, hit the big red “Panic” button to immediately notify your emergency contact via SMS that you need assistance.
