About Real Estate Services

Real Estate Services LogoIn an effort to meet the changing needs of today’s large brokerage firms, NAR's Real Estate Services (RES) program is designed to aid real estate brokers in implementing and maximizing their core business services, such as mortgage operations; title, escrow and settlement; home warranties and inspections; insurance and concierge service.

Launched in 2007, the program was created based on guidance from the RES Task Force. The RES Task Force, comprised of representatives from the largest real estate firms in the country, reviewed resources within NAR and identified existing products, tools, services and strategic alliances that cater to large brokers and their affiliated business as well as those that can be repurposed or customized in the following areas:

  • Research, Statistics, & Industry Analysis
  • Lobbying & Political Involvement
  • Regulatory Services & Affiliated-Business Expertise
  • Strategic Alliances & Cooperative Ventures
  • Marketing & Communication

Using this information, the RES Task Force created a framework for communication and information sharing with the real estate services community that focuses solely on the large diversified brokerage firms by providing them with tailored communications, consulting services, economies of scale, cooperative ventures and specialized marketing tools.

The Real Estate Services group works in collaboration with the Real Estate Services Advisory Board (formerly the RES Task Force), which is comprised of the top leaders from the some of the largest diversified brokerage firms in the United States.
