  In this section, we blend marketing—which is the broad field that includes identifying market needs, meeting them, and reaching appropriate consumers—with public relations—which is mostly concerned with building image and sustaining credibility.

These can be costly and time-consuming efforts, and the results aren’t always immediate or easily identifiable.
