EPA.gov gives you the latest on environmental hazards from asbestos to zinc. Although the vastness of the site and the government ese” sometimes makes it difficult to get simple answers, it is the single best source for environmental questions.

HUD.gov provides information on fair housing issues for purchased and leased properties, as well as consumer tips, listings of HUD homes for sale, and information on various government loan programs for homebuyers.

InspectAmerica.com lets consumers know what they should expect during a home inspection, provides printable home inspection checklists, and provides a short list of qualified inspectors in your area.

LeadSafeUSA.com, the site of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, is particularly useful in providing links to other web sites on lead hazards and on providing insights into the risk related to lead paint removal.

SaneMarketing.com is a great place to stop if you need a little advice or a pep talk in the midst of you property marketing efforts. Despite the hokey titles, such as “Read and Grow Rich,” the site offers solid advice on Internet marketing and using e-mail effectively.
