Highlights of the 2004 NAR Education Habits and Topics Survey
Online Education Myths vs. Reality

In June 2004, NAR surveyed 10,000 Realtors to learn about their opinions and experiences with online education. 1,360 members responded - a 14% response rate.

In reviewing the survey results, we found that some people hold common myths about online education that are untrue. Here are some online education myths de-bunked.

Reality: Courses leading to the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM), and the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations are available online at REALTOR® University. Online Courses leading to other designations are also being developed.
