Homes for Working Families, (http://www.homesforworkingfamilies.org/, 2008). - "Homes for Working Families focuses on helping working families who earn between 60 and 120 percent of an area's median income. However, median incomes vary greatly by community. In San Jose, Calif., families earning between 60 and 120 percent of the area's median income earn approximately $49,000 to $99,000 annually, while in New Orleans, that same range is $25,000 to $49,000. In conducting public opinion research, and for clarity in our materials, we use national figures and describe working families as families earning approximately $25,000 to $50,000 annually."
